Hyperbolic but true. I gave a speech about improving yourself by going faster at the Toastmasters and was voted the President’s Award for Best Speaker. Of the evening. Against two other speakers, one of whom read from his notes (but who will become a tremendous speaker, I’m sure of it). But none-the-less my very first speaking award! The first of many, I have little doubt.
